We started EnableX in 2022 with one simple belief - that every person deserves more than just a roof over their head; they deserve a home that inspires confidence, comfort, and connection.

Turning DIS into EN
Too often, disability has been defined by what’s missing. We chose to see what’s possible - and to turn DIS into EN: enabling independence, dignity, and belonging through thoughtfully designed SDA homes.
The X is a crossroads - and it’s the heart of who we are. Every person we walk alongside reaches a moment where life takes a new direction. The X marks that turning point: where the road you were on meets a better one, where people cross paths with community, and where a house becomes a home. It’s where everything changes for the better.
Our story
From one project to a national standard
What began as one small project in Victoria soon grew into a bigger vision - to raise the standard of Specialist Disability Accommodation across Australia. Too many SDA homes are built to the bare minimum, in places disconnected from community and life. We wanted to change that.
Every home we build is our own, carefully located in vibrant, well-connected neighbourhoods where life happens - near gyms, swimming pools, and local hubs where people meet, move, and belong. You’ll often find art classes, yoga sessions, or community events just around the corner.
Inside, every detail matters. From thoughtful layouts to luxury finishes, we create homes that feel warm, personal, and truly lived in - a safe place you can be proud of. And because comfort also means peace of mind, every EnableX home is close to doctors, hospitals, and public transport.

Our services
A full circle of care
We provide accommodation and supports for people with disability - long-term, medium-term, short-term, or respite. Unlike many, we don’t build SDA homes for investors. Every home is our own, designed and delivered to the highest standard for the people who live in them: our participants.
Our services are exclusively available to residents of our homes, ensuring a truly personal, consistent and high-quality experience. Together with our partners, we deliver a full circle of care.

24/7 daily living supports and support coordination delivered by trusted, carefully selected teams who share our values.
Community & social participation
